Punch 1
Punch 1 is the flaghip studio space and has a wide range of vintage and modern equipment, centred around an AMEK BCIII mixing console with Neve designed preamps.
The live room is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate an ensemble for recording or can be configured to provide a more intimate atmosphere for solo performers or voiceovers. The microphone collection ranges from vintage classics to modern technologies and includes Neumann, AKG, Coles, STC, sE Electronics, Sennheiser, Reslo, Film Industries and Shure models.
The control/mix room has a variety of vintage outboard gear including API, Universal Audio and Focusrite preamps. Primarily, digital tracking is to Pro Tools 12, however Logic Pro and Reaper are available on request. For analogue recording we have a Revox PR99 MKII stereo reel to reel tape machine to add flavour to your mix, as well as the king of lo-fi the Tascam 388*.
