Punch Studios is a versatile and affordable recording studio situated a stone’s throw from Ipswich town centre in Suffolk. It is an hour from the M25 via the A12 and easy to find from Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Norwich.

Surrounding a 32-channel Soundcraft Ghost console, tracking onto ProTools 9, is a variety of vintage outboard gear including Universal Audio, CLM,  DBX, Tube-Tech, Joe Meek, Lexicon, Klark Teknik and Studer - combined with vintage microphones including Neumann, AKG, STC (Coles), Sennheiser and Shure.  We offer all the benefits of digital recording whilst maintaining desirable analogue warmth.  

We also offer a multitude of services outside of recording including fully equipped rehearsal rooms, instrument tuition and Rock Schools.
